Hello Caerhays!
Welcome to the Summer Term! I hope you are all well and enjoyed your Easter holidays, especially with the fabulously warm, sunny weather!
Weekly Tasks for Distant Learning
For this week, you have been set a couple of tasks to complete. For Literacy, your writing assignment requires you to write a series of instructions. This can be based on anything you like.... Maybe you could write a recipe, tell somebody how to play your favourite game or even advise how to build the biggest and best Lego structure! It's entirely up to you! For maths I have uploaded a selection of practical activities. Please send me pictures through Dojo as I’d love to see what you’ve been up to!
From Monday, we will set 5 tasks (writing, reading, maths, science, topic). One of these will be set as an assignment and all the resources you'll need will be added here for you to download if you cannot access them through “Teams”.
To summarise:
Summer 1 Week 1 WB 15th April |
Maths Look in your maths folder in Class Notebook for some Easter maths challenges. |
Writing Have a look in assignments for an instruction writing task. Can you write instructions for something you have been doing at home? It can be based on anything you want! Maybe you could write a recipe? Tell someone how to build the most supercool Lego tower? Or even describe how to do your favourite hobby! The choice is yours! |
Reading: Log on to "Fiction Express" and explore a new book that you haven't read yet! Next week we will be following a live book which is called "The Last Guardian: Storm Wolf 2". Mr Whitford's hot read for this week is "Stormwolf". |
Science: Why not do something from the Summer 1 homework grid? |
Topic Why not do something from the Summer 1 homework grid? |
Extra: If you finish the work and would like some more things to do:

Have a great week and I will post a video message next week!
